Our Story

Hello! We are Kimberly and Alexander, and we are truly honored that you’re taking the time to learn about our family.

Our love story began eleven years ago, married seven, but from the very beginning, it was never just about the two of us—it was about becoming a family. When Alex met Em, he was five years old. Their bond was instant, and from that day forward, Alex has loved him as his own. Watching their relationship grow has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives.

One of our favorite memories is the day Alex proposed in front of our Christmas tree, with Em standing proudly beside him. When we married, Em stood next to Alex again—this time as his best man. Those moments remind us that love isn’t just something you say; it’s something you show every single day.

Em is now seventeen, and he is funny, kind, compassionate, and has the biggest heart. For years, he has dreamed of becoming a big brother, and we know he will love and protect a little one with all his heart.

If you choose our family, your child will grow up surrounded by unconditional love, laughter, encouragement, and the comfort of always knowing they belong. We promise to cherish every milestone, celebrate who they are, and love them with our whole hearts, every single day.

Family Life

Our favorite place has always been home. Since moving in together, we’ve poured our hearts into making our house a warm, welcoming place filled with love and laughter. Whether we’re painting a room, tackling a new project, or simply enjoying a quiet evening together, we love creating a home where memories are made.

When we’re not working on the house, you’ll usually find us down the shore. We love spending summer days at the beach, walking the boardwalk, and enjoying the simple moments together. During the holiday season, we embrace family traditions like hayrides at the farm, driving to see Christmas lights, baking cookies from our family recipes, and picking out our Christmas tree. These are the moments we look forward to every year, and we can’t wait to share them with a child.

Faith has always been an important part of our lives. We were both raised in the Catholic faith and received all of our sacraments. Today, we continue to live our lives guided by Christian values of kindness, compassion, gratitude, and love. Our son has been raised with the same values that are important to our family.

Family means everything to us, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and support that surrounds us. Between our parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends, there is an entire village excited to welcome a child into our lives. Kimberly has an older brother, an older sister, and three wonderful nieces. Alex has two younger brothers who are a big part of our family as well. We know your child will grow up surrounded by people who will cheer them on, celebrate their milestones, and love them unconditionally.

We also have a sweet Maltipoo named Ruby, who is seven years old. She is gentle, playful, and absolutely loves children. Ruby is happiest when she’s included in family time, whether that’s snuggling or playing. We know she’ll be a loving and loyal companion for a little one.

Lifestyle

We love making memories together, whether we’re exploring somewhere new or enjoying the little moments at home. Traveling is one of our greatest joys, and it’s something we look forward to continuing as our family grows. We’ve explored many states across the country, visited beautiful islands, and have made countless magical memories taking Em to Disney over the years. One day, we hope to experience Europe as it has great meaning to us.

Some of our favorite family moments happen in the everyday routines. When Em was younger, one of Kimberly’s greatest joys was reading bedtime stories together each night. Those quiet moments before bed created memories that will last a lifetime. We have a collection of treasured children’s books that have been lovingly saved, and we can’t wait to read them again with another child. We also love spending time together at the park, creating arts and crafts, building lego creations, putting together puzzles, and finding new ways to have fun and learn as a family.

Family and tradition are at the heart of who we are. We are both Italian, and Alex is a first-generation American, as both of his parents immigrated from Italy. We were raised with the importance of faith, family, and gathering around the dinner table. Sunday dinners were a cherished tradition in both of our homes, and it’s a tradition we continue today. Sharing recipe’s, meals, celebrating holidays, and simply being together are some of life’s greatest blessings. We look forward to passing these traditions on and creating new ones with your child, surrounding them with love, laughter, and a strong sense of belonging.

Adoption

For the past seven years, we have dreamed of growing our family. Soon after we were married, we began trying to have a baby, never imagining the difficult journey that lay ahead. After years of infertility treatments, we came to believe that God had a different path planned for us. While the road hasn’t been what we expected, it has strengthened our faith and made us even more certain that we are meant to be parents again. We hold onto hope and dream of the day we can welcome another child into our family with all the love in our hearts.

We understand that every adoption story is unique, and we are committed to honoring whatever level of openness feels right for you. Whether that includes visits, phone calls, emails, photos, or another plan, we will always respect your wishes. Above all, we want your child to grow up knowing they were deeply loved and that every decision in their adoption story was made with love, courage, and their best interests at heart.

Best Wishes

To the expectant mother reading this, we want you to know how deeply we admire your strength and courage. We may never fully understand the circumstances that have brought you here, but we recognize that this is one of the most difficult decisions a person can make. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family and for considering us.

If you choose us to parent your child, it would be the greatest honor and blessing of our lives. We promise to love your child unconditionally, to cherish them every day, and to always speak of you with love, respect, and gratitude. We hope you always know that your child’s story begins with your love, and that your decision will forever be met with our deepest appreciation.

We are praying for peace, comfort, and strength for you throughout this journey. Our hearts are with you and your precious baby.
