Our Story

Hi, we are James, Amanda and Jason, welcome to our page! We first met through an online website. We then had our first date and knew it was love at first sight. A little over a month later we were engaged and 9 months later we were married. We have been married since July 2019. Before Amanda met James she was blessed to have provided foster care to our son Jason when he was one years old.  Amanda was then able to adopt Jason and they have been a family ever since.  After we were married James then adopted Jason and we are all so happy we created this life with one another.

Family Life

We are catholic and love to celebrate the holidays! We are a very festive family. We enjoy decorating, arts and crafts and yummy food to go along with the festivities. We have many pets that we love and adore. We have three wonderful dogs named Griffin, Kinley and Regan. We have guinea pigs named Wednesday & Sally. We have 2 mini pigs named Braun & Fiona. There are 15 chickens and yes, they are all named! We also have a few cats that we rescued from outside around the house that are so loved and adored.

Lifestyle

As a family we love being outside. We are 10 minutes from a beach and go as much as possible. We enjoy doing festive activities like apple picking in the fall, Polar Express train rides in the winter or whale watching in the summer. We also like to go to different places like Monster Jam, Diggerland, WWE events, the Aquarium, the zoo and always the beach!

Adoption

We would love to keep you updated about your child including letters, pictures and email contact.

With our son being Hispanic we have incorporated diversity into our family which is extremely important. As a family we celebrate Dia De Los Muertos. We have incorporated Hispanic food, songs, books and language into our family routines. It is important to encompass everyone’s ethnic background. If we adopt a child that is a different ethnicity than ours we will also incorporate their ethnic background into the family dynamics as well.

Best Wishes

We want to thank you for considering us. We are truly so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing journey, and we promise to fill your child’s life full of love, laughter and endless support.
