Family Life

We both come from large Italian & Irish families that value family traditions & experiences. In addition to family, our group of close friends is particularly important to us. We believe that our family & friends’ support through all endeavors is invaluable. Involving our child in the lives of the people closest to us will allow for a life of more love & enrichment.

We were both raised catholic and if we are blessed with a child we plan on raising him/her the same.

Our dog is a healthy and friendly eight-year-old Shiba Inu named Otto, who is either spending time with us at home or joining us on our hiking and camping adventures.

Lifestyle

We live a very active lifestyle, both continuing to be avid runners. We also love hiking, camping, skiing, walking Otto, & spending time at the beach. We love traveling, particularly hiking/camping when we travel to national and state parks.  We truly enjoy our time together, whether relaxing at home, or sitting outdoors by a campfire. We plan to introduce our future child to similar experiences. The joke with our family always is, “Where are you traveling next?”

We live in a tight knit community, close to shops, restaurants, local beaches. Our families and close friends are a short distance away.

Adoption

We would love to share photos & videos with you and meet up at the yearly picnic. We are in full support of your child knowing and learning about their adoption story.

Adopting a child into our family with a different ethnic background would be a blessing. Our families are in full support of this decision and we plan to incorporate their ethnic background into our lives. This would involve researching your child’s background, which would include specific cultural holidays, traditions, foods, & styles.  As your child grows, we will always give them the opportunity to explore their own ethnic identity. Whether your child wants to read about their ethnicity & culture, or perhaps travel to a specific area, we will always be supportive of their endeavors.
